Critical point, field Survey….
Whether involving fiber or coaxial cable, CRI has the expertise and experience necessary to plan and provide all engineering functions from project initiation to completion on time and within budget. Whether using a measuring wheel and “stick” or state-of-the-art equipment such as laser measuring devices or the Trimble Data Logger GPS mapping system, CRI field technicians can accurately map and record field-engineering data.
As a full service CATV engineering company, CRI realizes that a competent design is critically dependent upon an accurate field survey. We have developed a quality assurance program to ensure the accuracy of field surveyed information. This program tests the quality of field information through a four step QC plan.
CRI requires all field surveyors to meet or exceed a “minimum standards” requirement. Prior to being issued maps for any field-engineering project, each field surveyors must pass a certification test in order to participate. This test consists of basic information as well as information specifically relating to the project. In addition, all surveyors report to an on-site supervisor who does no production work and instead focuses totally upon quality control. The sole responsibility of this supervisor is to perform a 100% initial verification of each surveyor's work, and on an ongoing basis, verify a percentage necessary to insure a high standard of quality.
